Weather Dodgers!

WHEW. So, during the initial planning stages of "our big and great adventure", we had planned on staying more south than north, planning to head north when necessary. The night before our journey, I decided to switch it up and go north to try to make up for some lost time due to our later departure. Cari thought I'd lost my mind, but I stayed up poring over weather reports to make sure that aside from some unpleasant chilly weather, we would be fine weather wise! We woke up this morning to the news that a blizzard with white out conditions slammed our originally planned route!! We're feeling beyond lucky right now :). On another note.... I've watched cari consume a small hotel coffee, 2 iced vanilla coffee drinks, a bottle of vitamin water.... & she just busted out the sprite zero. I hope there are plenty of rest stops because ralphie and I have to pee just sitting in the same car with her... Oh & poop bags make GREAT trash bags.
